ORIGIN
CIRID's approach is more than 10 years old. She was born at the 3rd United Nations International Conference on the LDC in Brussels in May 2001, which was preceded by 7 meetings including 5 in Burundi (with the United Nations as partners) and 2 in Geneva (with the support of the Swiss authorities ). This long process will lead, in 2013, to two major events proposed by CIRID: the Tanganyika International Forum (FIT) in August 2013 in Bujumbura and the Business and Projects Fair to Africa in October 2013 in Geneva.
